Biography
Casey Lang was born March 21, 1979 to Donald and Carolyn Lang in Great Falls, Montana and has been a bundle of energy since. Casey has three siblings, a brother Terry, and two half-brothers Jeff and Kent. He grew up and spent his entire life in Montana until he decided to pursue his dreams in Florida. It seems as though a camera has always been in his hands since he picked one up in high school.

Growing up his love for sports was unmatched by anything. He was always throwing, jumping, kicking, and running into, through, on, or around something! Though he may not remember throwing the baseball through the neighbors window, or the rock through the church window, his accuracy has since improved. Fun was his middle name as he played flag football, ran cross country and track, basketball, and baseball at various times growing up. His favorite sport has always been football, and he seemed to always be cheering for the team that won in those days, the 49ers. Jerry Rice and Joe Montana are his favorite players and he'll always talk about that 80s dynasty.

Casey has always been one of the smartest people anyone would ever meet with a thirst for knowledge in all that interests him. He graduated from CMR High School in Great Falls, Montana in 1998 with a B average. During his high school days he did film work for the varsity basketball team providing key filmwork for the team throughout the season and in the state basketball tournaments. Casey was well liked by the coaches he worked with who recommended him to the Montana Grizzly football team for a similar job. Casey was given a scholarship for his work with the football team and was quickly welcomed into the Montana Grizzly football family. He made many friends during these years and had a great time watching the football team make the playoffs every single year he filmed for the team, including two trips to the NCAA 1-AA championship game in 2000 and 2001. Casey was always quick to offer his complimentary tickets to his family wanting them to enjoy the action with him. To this day he loves showing off his championship rings. Since his start with the Grizzlies, the Lang family has not missed a single home game until now.

Towards the end of his college career Casey got a job as a nightly news cameraman with KPAX TV in Missoula, Montana. Again he made many friends and was well liked by his coworkers. With this experience, his degree, and experience from high school and college sports, Casey decided to pursue a career in television journalism. Nothing could have talked him out of moving to Florida where he lives today and he has made many friends in the area. Living in the professional world has presented Casey with many challenges any of us have faced. He has met every single one of these challenges with a smile, hard work ethic, and determination to overcome any obstacle in his path. One thing you must know about Casey is that he gives nothing less than 100% of his very best effort in everything he does. If you can do something, he'll want to do one better.

He proudly cheers for his favorite teams and players. He's even cheered for us attending graduations, calling with congrats on promotions, etc. He loves his family more than anything in the world and his pride and joy is his niece Kaylie and nephew Carson. I can not remember a single time when he wasn't there when his family needed him. For the last 10 years Casey has held a camera proudly, shown the world love, and cheered for those around him. It's our turn to cheer for him, send our prayers to heaven, and wish a FULL recovery so we can see Casey doing what he loves again, holding that camera for many years to come.

In our hearts, our prayers, we love you Casey.

Terry
